  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 14

by Sarah Jones on October 14, 2015

Pray for our obedience to the Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20). Pray that each of us would seek out opportunities to minister the gospel to our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, friends and family members. Pray for all those being discipled in our midst.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 13

by Sarah Jones on October 13, 2015

Thank God for the children and youth of Morningview, and then pray for their salvation. Ask God to make our congregation a seed-bed for Pastors, Missionaries, Church Planters, and godly churchmen. Pray for our fathers and mothers to be faithful spiritual leaders in the home.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 12

by Sarah Jones on October 12, 2015

We desire to be a healthy ‘Mother’ church to new congregations. Pray for our members to grow in our communion with Christ, protecting our time in the Word and in prayer. Pray that we would love the blessings of Christ more than the comforts and pursuits of this world. Pray that we would invest ourselves in what is eternal rather than what is temporal.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 11

by Sarah Jones on October 11, 2015

Pray Acts 2:42-43 for the Morningview Family– “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.” Pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit and revival here and in our community.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 10

by Sarah Jones on October 10, 2015

Pray for Ken May and our local Montgomery Baptist Association, as we continue to explore church planting opportunities in our own city and region. Pray for God to raise up faithful church planting leaders and teams from among our own churches here in Montgomery.

The next 21 days of prayer will focus specifically on opportunities and needs within our own church family. We are excited about what God is doing in our city and through our membership, and we want to be sensitive and responsive to how He will lead us in a ministry of church planting.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 9

by Sarah Jones on October 9, 2015

Pray for Lamar Duke and our Alabama State Board of Missions as they train leaders and assist church planting efforts. There are over 50 planters in the process of planting churches in our state right now. Pray that they would establish strong biblical churches with godly pastors and leadership.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 8

by Sarah Jones on October 8, 2015

Pray specifically for healthy evangelism and church plants among minority and international communities here in the United States. The Lord has truly brought the nations to us, and many of our North American church planting efforts are cross-cultural in nature.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 7

by Sarah Jones on October 7, 2015

Pray for our 4,000+ missionaries that serve through the International Mission Board. Pray for their evangelistic efforts, their partnerships with existing indigenous churches, and that God would use them to proclaim Christ and plant healthy local congregations in their contexts.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 6

by Sarah Jones on October 6, 2015

Pray for our 4,000+ church planters serving with the North American Mission Board. Pray that God will develop their gifts of leadership and preaching. Pray that God will bless their efforts to evangelize and start home Bible Studies. Pray for healthy church plants and faithful leaders.
