FAIR WORKERS OUTREACH BREAKFAST
We are less than two weeks away from serving the Fair Workers breakfast on Saturday, October 29. You have responded so well to the sign up to bring food and to volunteer to help. Our collection tub has begun to fill and we are grateful for the contributions, also. We will have the sign-up sheets out by the sanctuary one more Sunday so you can still sign up to bring food or other items and to volunteer. You should plan to bring your cooked food to the church no later than
There are still many time slots to be filled at the booth at the Fair where we will share a witness of the Gospel message. Signing up does require a commitment of time on the part of a lot of people. You will need to be prepared to pay admission. Sign-up forms are on the table outside the sanctuary on the drum side. For more info, contact David Day or Reggie McDonald.
PrimeTimers, plan to join us Thursday, November 3 as we trek down to south Montgomery County to Red’s Schoolhouse for lunch. We will leave the church at 10:30 am. Sign up in Sunday School or by calling the church office at 272-2304.
HANDS OF CHRIST TOY STORE
The dates for the Hands of Christ Ministry Center Toy Store are December 13th and 15th. The Toy Store helps parents, grandparents, and guardians provide Christmas for their children. You can help, as always, with new toy donations, monetary donations, and volunteering your time to help. You will find the collection tub by the Aletheia Center door.
HANDS OF CHRIST IMMEDIATE NEEDS
Hands of Christ has some immediate needs with which you might help. They need gently used men’s clothing in smaller sizes and gently used children’s winter clothing in sizes 4x to 18. Get any of these items you might have to Teri McDonald.
MORNINGVIEW CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Our annual Morningview Christmas Celebration will be Sunday evening, December 4. If you are not presently a member of our choir, but would like to sing in the Christmas Choir, please let Trey Head know. You can begin coming to the rehearsal of Christmas music this Wednesday night at 6:45. You are also invited to become part of the Adult Choir through the Christmas season and join us each Wednesday evening in the Music Suite at 6:00. This will be a special time of hearing and singing the glorious songs of Christmas time and our Savior’s birth.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
It is that time again. Begin, if you haven’t already, purchasing items for your box(es). Preprinted boxes are now available at the Calhoun Road entrance. Deadline for returning filled boxes will be Sunday, November 13. You can leave filled boxes on the floor there also.
