The Certainty of Love
Luke's prologue is written in the crafted, polished style of a Greek literary classic, explaining his sources, purpose, and approach in a way that fits well among the scholarly writings of the GrecoRoman world. But Luke is more than a physician & historian, we will see that he also has the heart of a pastor, dedicated to lovingly pointing others to Christ and grounding our assurance of salvation in the Person and Word of Christ.
