• Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 5

by Sarah Jones on October 5, 2015

Pray specifically for God to move mightily in our three partnership countries, and to even now prepare godly pastors, teachers and leaders for the churches that will be planted as a result of the evangelistic efforts of our partners. Pray specifically that God would keep the governments in these countries from hindering the work.

There are significant church planting efforts going on through many of our denominational entities. We need to be praying for these leaders and their efforts to establish healthy local churches.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting – Oct 1

by Sarah Jones on October 1, 2015

Pray Luke 10:2 — “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Pray that God would send us and our children and grandchildren to labor in His harvest. Pray that we would be faithful to proclaim the gospel and plant biblical churches here in our own region and around the world.

With the completion of our Missions Conference, we want to be diligent to pray for our global missions partners and their efforts to make disciples and to establish biblical churches led by faithful indigenous pastors.

  • Month of Prayer for Church Planting

by Sarah Jones on September 30, 2015

Tomorrow we will begin our month of praying for church planting.  Each day the prayer suggested for that day will be posted here and on Morningview’s Facebook Group Page.  Use these prayers, the scriptures given, and any specifics given to diligently pray for those who are presently involved in planting churches here and around the world.  Pray for our pastors as they seek to know God’s will for Morningview in future plans for planting churches. This is a special time as we join together praying very specifically every day for God’s leading and blessings in this area.

by Sarah Jones on September 15, 2015

State FairThe cooler weather these last few days give us a feeling for fall, though the actual season has not arrived yet.  With that, though, comes the anticipation of the Alabama State Fair. This will be the third year we have had the opportunity to prepare and serve breakfast to those workers who are in our community for the short duration of the Fair.

This year, those organizing the Fair contacted us about serving the workers and to once again spend time with this unique group of people.  The date will be Saturday, October 31 from about 8:30 to 11:00 am. There are many ways in which you can get involved in this wonderful opportunity. (more…)
