Healing, Forgiveness, and Glory
Healings and exorcisms were not the first priorities of Jesus' ministry. Going to the cross to accomplish the redemption of man and proclaiming the good news of His kingdom were His first priorities. In this passage, we see Jesus heal and leper and a paralytic, but more than physical healing, He demonstrates His authority to grant spiritual healing by forgiving sin.
