The Fugitive Deliverer

Sermons

At this point in the history of Israel, the people had demanded a king and, in Saul, they were now reaping the wrath of a forsaken king. They needed to hear from the Lord and they needed a King that would protect them and love them and set God’s interests before their own. In our text this morning, we see again the stark difference between David and Saul, and how God is continuing to prepare David to assume the throne of Israel.
