When Adultery Births Deceit

There are only two ways that sin will ever be covered: either we will try to cover it up, or we will confess it to Christ and He will cover it. As we continue working our way through the heartbreaking episode of David's adultery, we see the pride of Israel's king on full display as he calls Uriah back from the front lines of battle in an effort to make him think the child that Bathsheba is carrying is his own.
