And Jesus Increased
As we come to the only recorded story of the boyhood of Jesus that we have in all the gospels, we find that Jesus was aware of His unique relationship to God from his boyhood. He knew He was God's own Son and that He possessed a unique calling in the Father's plan of redemption. And therefore, the entirety of His life, including His childhood, was part of Him fulfilling all righteousness and becoming our perfect substitute sacrifice.
