Message: “Do Not Trust Your Heart” from Jamani Warren

The human heart is an amazing and vital organ. The human body thrives because of the blood that the heart pumps at over 2,000 gallons daily. The heart still has its flaws as heart disease is still the number one killer in the world. The spiritual heart described in the Old Testament refers to the inner core of a person- the thoughts, feelings, desires, will, and choices that make that person who he/she is. Because those things can be shaped by the world and our experiences, Jeremiah teaches us here that the heart is not to be trusted because it is incurably wicked; rather, Trust the Lord. This sermon is more of an intro to the start of a series on the heart of man and how the only solution to our heart issues is The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
