Message: “Excuses, Excuses, Excuses…” from Shawn Merithew

The parable of the great banquet is one of the more tragic parables of Christ. Why? Because it is delivered to Jewish people who think they are headed for the kingdom of heaven, yet it is meant to reveal their lostness because of their love for the things of this world. But the parable ends with a message of hope. The Marriage Feast of the Lamb will be served to the broken, the needy, the poor, the stranger, the foreigner – to all who receive the invitation and come in faith to Christ.
