Moses’ request to see God’s glory is truly humbling and truly amazing. But what is even more incredible is that the Sovereign God of the Universe responds positively to his request. His revelation of Himself will consist of a proclamation of His Sovereign Goodness as well as a display of His splendor from which Moses must be protected. Through this text, we come to understand His Sovereign Freedom of will as well as our need for His preserving grace.
