In the final two climactic verses of Romans 8, Paul brings us to a crescendo where He emphasizes the eternally binding power of God’s love for us. Here he lists 10 things that cannot separate us from the love of God that is lavished upon us in Christ Jesus. 8 of these things are in pairs, yet Paul uses all ten of them to stress to us the indivisible bond of love we have with God the Father through Christ the Son.
