Going to the cross to accomplish the redemption of man and proclaiming the good news of His kingdom were His first priorities. In this passage, we see Jesus heal and leper and a paralytic, but more than physical healing, He demonstrates His authority to grant spiritual healing by forgiving sin.

Times where we tend to focus on the rhetoric of others, politicians, and those on social media instead of on the words of eternal life. We tend to distract ourselves with the depravity of mankind rather than focusing our minds on the glory yet to be revealed. And this glory resides in heaven.
