If you were to ask Christians to describe the “Ark of the Covenant,” most of them would make reference to the 1981 blockbuster “Raiders of the Lost Ark” rather than Scripture. This artifact of ancient Israel has been popularized by many, but understood by few. In reality, the Ark points us forward to Christ and the beauty of our salvation in Him.
