Message: “The Descent and Resurrection of Our Greater Jonah” from Cody Floate

The book of Jonah is intended to be a revelation of our Lord Jesus, particularly as it pertains to his descent into death and his resurrection on the third day. Jonah's being tossed into the sea and into the fish is his own dive into the depths of death, so to speak, and it is God alone who is able to bring him up again, through a resurrection unto new life, restored that the prophet would be a light to the nations.
