The covenant of redemption, planned in eternity past between Father and Son, dawned in creation when Israel was under the boot of Roman and Herod the Great ruled with an iron fist over God's people. The incarnation of our Lord would come through some of the most unlikely means imaginable – a young carpenter named Joseph and his betrothed, Mary. In this sermon, we explore how God revealed His plan and purpose to Joseph to prepare him to be the earthly Father of Christ.
