In the midst of the narratives in Luke two, we have these brief three verses that introduce us to Anna, a dedicated servant of the Lord. Widowed after only 7 years of marriage, Anna spent the next 60+ years praying, worshiping, and fasting daily in the temple. She was a woman who used her singleness to be wholly devoted to the Lord. So this sermon explores the significance of Christian singleness and how our relationship with Christ is the only one that defines us for all eternity.
