Message: “The Strength of the Kingdom” from Shawn Merithew

David's introduction to public life in Israel came when he was a mere shepherd boy who defeated the giant, Goliath. As we near the end of 2nd Samuel, we see that though David is no longer in his prime, he has raised up a new generation of giant killers. God has kept his promise and blessed this king, even through his own personal failings. But ultimately, we see that the real strength of the kingdom lies with God, which is just as true in Christ today.
