Message: “Two Ways to Live” from Shawn Merithew

In our text this morning, we have Christ Himself presenting us with a contrast between two kinds of people: a contrast between the religious elite and impoverished commoners. As He warns the crowds about the religious leaders, we see the character of corruption, greed, and man-pleasing that will receive a greater condemnation. But as He commends the widow giving her two pennies, we see the humility, faith, and generosity that God values.
