United to Christ

In Romans 6:4, Paul used what is pictured in Christian baptism to remind the Roman believers that they have spiritually died and been buried with Christ, and they have likewise been spiritually resurrected from the grave to a new way of life in Christ. What follows in verses 5-10 is a fuller explanation of this reality. Paul explains in this text what it means to be united with Christ in the likeness of His death as well as what it means to be united with Christ in the likeness of His resurrection.
