Luke: Thy Kingdom Come

Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire

Sermons

Sometimes in life, we feel like God is leading us from crisis to crisis, each one harder than the next. That is exactly what we find in the this chapter as David and his men return home to find their families kidnapped and their city ablaze. From David’s example, we learn what it means to trust in God’s sovereignty, to be strengthened by Him in times of suffering, to recognize His work on our behalf, and to rejoice in the abundance of His grace.
