Luke: Thy Kingdom Come

An Unstable Return

Sermons

With Absalom defeated and his coup ended, David now has the difficult responsibility of reuniting the nation and returning to Israel's throne. This period of suffering and loss seems to have humbled David greatly, and so what we see from him in this text is a very patient and conciliatory spirit that reminds us of the grace and patience of Jesus Christ.
