Nursery Hall Policies

A few helpful and clarifying reminders after the long absence of nursery care and Sunday School for preschoolers…

  • Parents, please do not go beyond the nursery check-in desk. Preschool Coordinator Jennifer Graham, or another nursery hall attendant will assist you with drop-off and pick-up. This policy is for orderliness and safety.
  • Room assignments are determined by the Preschool Coordinator and will depend on age, birthdate, developmental stage, and child-to-teacher ratios.
  • K4 kids must be picked up by parents/guardians after Sunday School (Worship Care is for 3 and under only).
  • During the Worship Care hour, 3-year-olds will go into the sanctuary to sit with their parents until the offertory, at which time they return downstairs to the nursery for the remainder of the service. During the offertory parents may send their children with the Worship Care volunteers who will be on the drum-side front pew, or take them downstairs to the nursery. This policy is to allow parents the opportunity to begin helping their children adjust to sitting in the service while there is still Worship Care available for them during the sermon. Children whose parents are serving in other worship ministry areas may remain with the Worship Care volunteers. (Volunteers in 3yo room, please do come to the nursery hall first at 10:15am.)

Family Commitment Service

Sunday, May 9

Parents, if you would like to participate email lindsay.edwards@morningview.org your child’s full name and a picture by April 25.

Worship Care

MORE HELPERS NEEDED! Any church member or person in the membership process who is 18 or older is eligible to serve. We need men, women, those who have nursery-age children and those who don’t. Many hands make light work for all (and few hands make tiresome work for the few hands). Incase you hadn’t noticed, Morningview is BLLESSED with children =) for which we praise the Lord! I pray we all want to help care for them and bless their parents and each other by serving in this way together.

Please contact Lindsay if you want to serve your church family in this way.

Volunteers,

  • Please check the schedule and know your day to serve in advance. The schedule is currently under construction again and will be forthcoming ASAP.
  • Please arrive on the nursery hall no later than 10:15am on your Sunday.
  • If you see that you can’t serve on your scheduled day, please call or text another person or couple on the schedule directly and make arrangements to swap days with them.
  • Let me know if you do swap days or if you have trouble finding someone to swap with.
  • THANK YOU, volunteers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
