As you all know, I received my PhD from Southern Seminary this past week.  I wanted to tell all of you, my church family, how much I love you and appreciate your consistent support through the entire process.  Since you may not see it otherwise, I also wanted you to see what I said about you in the preface to my dissertation:

“I am grateful for Morningview Baptist Church and its partnership throughout the writing of this dissertation. It is an inexpressible delight to serve as your pastor. Thank you for believing in the value of this labor, for encouraging me each step along the way, and for providing the large amount of time and resources that were required to complete it. Thank you most of all for being a church that values diligent study in its pastors, and for believing the historic Christian faith, once and for all delivered to the saints.”
